Fifteen years ago, Good Time Girls founders Sara and Marissa went looking for the women who forged their own path through Bellingham's old west days, and ended up changing the course of this city's history in the process. Five years later, that walking tour became a documentary.
This fall, they’re celebrating both anniversaries, and want to see you there. They’re putting the short film back on screen for one night only — Thursday, September 17th at 6:00pm — followed by a panel discussion with director Dan Hammill and the Good Time Girls themselves.
Watch Sara and Marissa trace the women who built something out of nothing in this city, get a little too inspired trying to parlay their modest success into a bar of their own, and somehow have it all work out for the best.
