Let’s celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of our Generations of Pride program up at WWU with a Lavender Hoedown featuring a live band! For this event, we will meet at the Western Washington University Multipurpose Room in the Viking Union. A catered buffet will be included.
We hope to have our largest crowd ever at this special dinner and dancing event. We invite you to learn some basic square dancing moves with us together.
Location, Parking and Shuttle
Viking Union is at the north end of campus on High Street which is closed to cars, but easily accessible by WTA Transit bus, walking or bicycle.
Free parking after 5pm in Lot 7G (off of Oak Street, near Billy Frank).
A shuttle will be available from the parking lot to the Viking Union building.
Generations of Pride is a coalition of BQC, PFLAG Whatcom/Bellingham, and LGBTQ+ Western. This is an intergenerational program that helps us socialize and build community for members of the LGBTQ+ community who are 18+. Dinners are FREE and catered, thanks to a generous grant from WWU. You are welcome to bring a dessert or side dish if you like. Each dinner has a theme and fun activities to help us learn about and get to know each other.
