Living Out Loud Support Group

Bellingham Queer Collective is thrilled to be partnering with our friends at Accent Counseling to provide Living Out Loud - a free support group for members of the queer community.

This 8-week therapeutic support group is led by trained professionals and open to all queer and LGBTQIA2S+ adults (age 18+) seeking a space to explore identity, connect with others, and build emotional resilience. Each session blends guided discussion, creative activities, and peer support, with space to share both joys and challenges (Rose & Thorn) of living as a queer person in today’s world.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Queer history and pride

  • Personal narratives and coming out stories

  • Relationships with clothing, voice, and visibility

  • Family expectations, boundaries, and chosen family

  • Being perceived, setting goals, and claiming space

  • Coping with microaggressions, politics, and systems

  • Intersectionality, identity exploration, and emotional safety

  • Art-based self-expression, storytelling, and visioning queer futures

Whether you’re early in your journey or have been out for years, this space is for building connection, processing experience, and cultivating queer joy. All queer identities and lived experiences are welcome.
